Four nights in Lima for eight to twelve people, in the Lima autumn: market and kitchen, three tasting menus of Peruvian cooking and the Pacific, with a host and a local guide from start to finish.

Lima is a direct flight from Mexico City, and a city people travel to for the food.
The journey turns on three nights and three tasting menus in three of the city’s chef-led kitchens, confirmed in writing before booking opens. The last in a private room for the group alone. Around them, the Surquillo market with a local cook, a hands-on class in Peruvian cooking and cacao from bean to bar.
And what is not eaten: Pachacámac above the ocean, the Larco Museum and sunset on the Barranco clifftop. One hotel in Barranco all four nights, no altitude and no dawn starts, and a local guide with the group from start to finish.

Arrive in your own time. The first night, a Creole dinner to begin; on Thursday, the Surquillo market, a hands-on class in Peruvian cooking and, at night, the first of the three tasting menus.

The pre-Hispanic sanctuary of Pachacámac, above the Pacific, and fish and seafood at noon. In the afternoon, a private cacao workshop. At night, the central dinner of the journey.

Larco and a farewell
The Larco Museum and a cevichería with the guide, sunset on the clifftop and the farewell dinner with the third tasting menu, in a private room for the group. On Sunday, breakfast and the airport transfer.

Wednesday 5 to Sunday 9 May 2027: the Lima autumn, mild and without the heat of January. Three working days, Wednesday to Friday, and home on Sunday, the eve of Mother’s Day in Mexico.
The journey’s three tables are confirmed in writing before booking opens, and named then. If there is no table for the group, the journey does not go on sale.
One hotel in Barranco all four nights. A local guide travels with the group the whole way, with transfers on arrival and departure.
A place is held with a deposit, and the full terms reach you in writing before any money is taken. The journey is confirmed no later than ninety days before departure, once eight travellers have booked. If it does not run, everything is returned. Do not buy flights until it is confirmed.
